The trumpeter of Zagreb’s alternative jazz band is getting married. His name is Boris Buric, but he’s known as Boro Bura. He has a nice life, lazy and joyful, until the moment his father presents him with a wedding gift. For Bura’s father, the gift is a way to let his son be completely independent from them, but for Bura the gift is responsibility he’s not ready for yet. Because of the gift, he will meet the part of the world around himself he didn’t notice until then, despite his father as well as his brother are belonging to that world. Because of the gift he will neglect the only true passion he has- playing the music. He will start drinking too much, his band will fall apart. The gift will separate him from his wife but get him closer to his brother. He will lose the gift, he won’t look for it again but will get it back, under concrete conditions. Everything happens from September 10th until December 21st. Financial crisis is still on, worried faces are all over the TV, the summer is hotter than any other before and Boro Bura becomes the husband, the father and better brother.
