Catalina is from Columbia. Ever since childhood, she dreamed of becoming a writer, but not believing in herself, she never had the courage to make that dream come true. She lost her mother when she was eleven years old, and was brought up by her father, who sent her to study law in France. Aware of great sacrificies her father had to make to help her graduate, Catalina would like to stay in Europe and bring her father from Columbia in order to stay with her. But the plan has one problem: her student visa expires ans she is unable to extend her legal stay in France. She comes to Sarajevo with the intension of writing a thesis on local activities of international War Crimes Tribunal. This work should help her get a job at the university, which would solve her problems with visa.
