Mehmet Ali Erbil was born on February 8, 1957 in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Ankara and Balıkesir. In 1970, he enrolled in the Theatre Department of State Conservatory in Ankara. Having graduated, he started his acting career in Ankara State Theatre. Afterwards, he moved to Istanbul and continued his career in musical films. In 1984, he first started his television career in a programme he hosted together with Derya Baykal and Çiğdem Tunç. Mehmet Ali Erbil is an actor, known for Keloglan vs. the Black Prince (2006), Yes Sir (2007) and Kahpe Bizans (2000). He has been married to Tugba Coskun since April 30, 2005. They have one child. He was previously married to Sedef Altuntas, Nergis Kumbasar and Muhsine Sehnaz Kamiloglu.
