Basak Köklükaya was born on April 19, 1974 in Ankara, Turkey. She is an actress, known for Everything About Mustafa (2004), Üçüncü sayfa (1999) and A Touch of Spice (2003). She has been married to Mehmet Murat Inal since September 13, 2003. She has appeared in over 20 films and television shows since 1989. She starred in The Confession, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. She studied at the Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory and Bilkent University.
