Yllka Mujo was born in Tirana, Albania, on 15 October 1953. She is an Albanian actress, especially known for her roles in Albanian movies during the communist regime. She was given the title of “Maestro of Arts” in recognition to her career in the National theatre. She married, now divorced, Gjergj Zaharia, and had a son, Amos Zaharia, a film director; and a daughter, Elia Zaharia, an actress and singer who became engaged with Prince Leka of Albania in 2010.
