Ilir Butka was born in 1965. He is a film director and producer. He graduated the Albanian Academy of Arts in Tirana, Albania. Has worked as a film director and producer for many years and is actually the Chairman of The Albanian National Centre of Cinematography, the official institution of Albanian cinema. He is known for Punch in the Chest (2012), Honeymoons (2009) and The Human Cargo (2012).
