Ramin Matinwas born in 1977. Completed a Bechelo'r degree in COmmunication Arts in Los Angeles and went on to earn a master's degree from the Film Department of Istanbul BIlgi University. In 2005 he co-founded Giyotin Films. He has worked on numerous Turkish and international documentaries, music videos and shorts as a director and cinematographer. His first feature film, The Monsters' Dinner (2011), won several awards. He directed his secound feature film, The Impeccables in 2013.
