Mila Turajlic was born on July 4, 1979 in Belgrade, Serbia. A documentary director and producer from Belgrade, Serbia, where she runs a production company, Dribbling Pictures, together with filmmaker Boris Mitić. She studied Politics and International Relations (BSc) and Media and Communications (MSc) at the London School of Economics, and Film and TV Production at the national film school (Faculty of Dramatic Arts) in Belgrade. She gained experience working on renowned feature films (Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, Fade to Black, Brothers Bloom). Mila’s first feature documentary Cinema Komunisto premiered at IDFA 2010, and won 16 awards including the Golden Hugo at Chicago International Film Festival.
