She was born in Athens and has an MA in International History from the LSE in London. She has been working as an independet film & television producer since 1998. She has produced and co-produced 10 feature films and documentaries and has also worked in varius production positions in a number of foreign films that were produced in Greece. Livanou is known for L (2012), Backdoor (2000) and Screamin' Jay Hawkins: I Put a Spell on Me (2001).
