Biography

Born in Heraclion, Crete in 1949. After graduating from high school she studied at the Vakalos School of Interior Design and Graphic Arts, at the Athens Polytechnic School of Fine Arts (applied engraving) and at the London International Film School. Works as α graphic artist and filmmaker and has written numerous articles in film magazines. Laya Yourgou is a writer and director, known for Red Sky (2011), Hard Goodbyes: My Father (2002) and Too Late Tommorow (2002).
