Anita Matic was born in Zagreb in 1975. Graduated in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She is a winner of the Rektor's Prize for her part in James Goldman's Lav u zimi, directed by Josko Juvancic. After completing her education, she joined the Kerempuh Satirical Theatre. She has performed in many plays including: Nemres pobjeci od nedjelje, Cabaret and The Vagina monolgues. She has guest starred with other theatre companies such as Mala scena, ZKM, GK Komedija, HNK and in Virovitica Theatre Company. She has also acted in film, her most significant role being that of Nina in a TV film Pet minuta njeznosti.
