Synopsis:

The legend states that Stalin imagined creating a new breed of human apes, the most resilient workers on the planet. The New Man, at the core of Communist ideology, could be its avatar. This tale originated in a lost corner of the Caucasus. There, in Abkhazia, a peculiar institute was founded in 1927. It has been using monkeys for advanced medical research. 90 years later, The New Man is dead, but other human dreams try to survive there, against all odds.
