The film begins with an examination of the body of Ana Persis Cumpănaş (Elena Albu) on 21 April 1938 by Alan Titus Podoleanu (Dragos Pîslaru) chief coroner Tribunal of Timisoara, in the presence of a prosecutor John Ispas (Catalin Crisan). The body had been moved and the coroner can not issue any preliminary hypothesis.
