Synopsis:

Marina (Cristi James) is a sailor. He is going to Timisoara because his girlfriend Imola (Ioana Moldovan) is seven months pregnant and they should perform a religious ceremony before the childbirth. Imola shares the apartment with Nina (Daniela Nane) and Hilde (Mihaela Radulescu). Timisoara, in December 1989. Anticommunist revolution breaks out. 56 civilians were killed by bullets and bayonets of the Securitate. From the hospital morgue 43 bodies are picked up and taken to Bucharest for incineration. The official reports are broadcasted with an aim not to reveal the great number of deaths. Those identified were to be missing ... Bucharest, 21 December 2004. Irenne (Maia Morgenstern) is arriving in Romania as a reporter of the newspaper Le Parisien Libre, where she works. Her task is to write about Romania 15 years following the Revolution. The writing is about the destiny of a country ... the destiny of a child ... A child born 15 years ago, when freedom came to Timisoara ... a lost child, an abandoned child ... The three stories are intertwined ...
