We And Our Neighbors, The Barackov's

Synopsis:

To live on a farm is nothing like the first thing that comes to one's mind: the rural idyl. Life on a farm is everything but that: "a farm seeks a servant, not a master," people say. In this film, Ziva Pejin and Zlata Putic offer us a story about their life on a farm. They reveal how it is to live in the absence of roads and electricity, in the middle of a God-forsaken part of Banat. They talk about their lives and the lives of all those who have nothing to hope for but suffering. In the latter, they include their neighbors, the Barackovs.
