Synopsis:

In 1953, just eight years after the Second World War, the group of Austrian film workers, gathered around the “Cosmopol Film” from Vienna, decided to make a co-production film with the Yugoslav partner “UFUS” from Belgrade. In spite of numerous obstacles in realization of this project, the film crew managed to finish the film “The Last Bridge” and win the award at the 1954 Cannes Festival. Those who are still alive reminiscence the days of their filmmaking.
