Synopsis:

After the war clash in 1999 and the persecution of the Serbs from Kosovo on the border dividing line area between Kosovo and the rest of Serbia, many of the Serbian villages within the community of Kursumlija became deserted and many of them were dying out. The unprotected border line, frequent firings, insecurity and fear forced the inhabitants of those villages to retreat deeper into the territory of the Kursumlija community, towards the town which itself was struggling with poverty and devastation of transition. Many people's destinies are interlaced in this film, including the story about an Albanian woman married to a Serb policeman.
