Synopsis:

Bulgaria is among the countries that have received the largest number of Russian refugees after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. some of them remained here forever. A hereditary Duke of the 33rd generation seeks traces of his father; a former investigator digs up two graves in the village cemetery, obsessed by the idea that he discovered the bones of Alexey and Anastasia, the children of Russia’s last emperor Nikolay II; a pathologist goes back to Russia for the first time after 60 years and participates in a religious procession to appease the spirit of his grandfather... Can one change anything today when nothing depends on him anymore?
