Born in 1969. Studied philosophy at the Free University of Berlin. He is a self taught flimaker and has worked as a film critic for German newspapers and magazines. Giorgos Fotopoulos has also taught film at the Popular University and School of Fine Arts of Berlin and is a stage dramaturgist and director. He has worked as production manager on Greek- German film productions.
