Eleni, a country girl, has been living in Athens for a number of years. Her life seems totally uninteresting. Every day she meets the same people, every day she does the same things. But one fine day life itself decides for her : through a chance incident and a number of furtive encounters it leads her to where perhaps she herself would wish to be.
