Dana Budisavljević was born in 1975 in Zagreb, Croatia. Graduated from Academy of Drama Arts, Department of Film and TV Editing. Worked as editor, director and producer of creative documentary films and TV series. For five years worked for Factum documentary film project as an assistant and later deputy director. She is co-founder of ZagrebDox Documentary Film Festival, launched in 2005. In 2006, Dana founded Hulahop Film and Art Production together with a colleague Olinka Vištica.
